In game one, Kyle Adams hit a two-run homer in the second inning to give the Devils a 2-1 lead, but that's all the offense the Devils could muster. Fisher (14-8) scored once in the first and third innings, and twice each in the fourth and fifth innings, winning 6-2. Noah Huard suffered the loss, tossing a complete game and striking out seven. In game two, the Devils led 3-2 after three innings. Jordan Basile scored on a wild pitch and Phil Gavin was plated on a Matt Baudo single in the first. In the second inning, Adams singled to score Basile for the Devil's third run. They added one more run to take a 4-2 lead in the fourth as Jim Kunkemoeller singled home Basile. Fisher would then score seven times in the fourth to take a 9-4 lead. Not to be outdone, the Devils answered back with six runs of their own in the top of the fifth and reclaimed the lead, 10-9. The Devils had eight hits in the inning. Dan Murphy collected two hits in the frame. Fisher would eventually take the lead for good, scoring two runs in the sixth and winning 11-10. Jordan Basile and Phil Gavin each collected three hits to pace the Devil's 16-hit attack. The Devils (7-16) next host No. 4 Cortland State in a SUNYAC matchup Saturday at Ludwig Field.
