Devils beaten by Cortland again

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- – No. 3 Cortland cruised to a 22-6 SUNYAC win over Fredonia State for the second straight day. The Red Dragons (16-2, 2-2 SUNYAC) were 17-6 winners Sunday.

The Blue Devils (7-10, 2-2 SUNYAC) had a pair of three-run innings to account for their scoring. Four different players had RBI, including two each by Rob Hermann (Trumansburg/Trumansburg) and Trey Johnson (Sinclairville/Cassadaga Valley). Herman had two of the seven Fredonia State hits.

The Blue Devils are back in action Wednesday night at Lake Erie College.
