Oswego (3-4, 2-2 SUNYAC) did its damage early in game one, with three runs in the first, one in the second and three in the third. They were aided by a pair of Blue Devil errors in the first, and five walks in the third. The Devils scored their first two runs in the second. Jordan Basile plated Jarrod Surine with a triple. Basile would score on a Jim Kunkemoeller single. The Devils last run came on back-to-back doubles by Joe Kephart and Basile. Blue Devil reliever Jeremy Hulbert pitched effective relief, yielding Oswego to only a pair of runs over the final six innings while striking out six. Game two turned out to be a pitchers' duel. Fredonia State's Matt Bauman would go the distance yielding five hits and two runs, but Oswego's Chris Schiro was equal to the task. He allowed only one run and six hits in earning the victory. Basile had two hits in the nightcap, and six hits in the double-header for the Devils. Fredonia State (5-10, 0-2 SUNYAC) continues conference play on Monday, hosting Brockport for a pair of games at Ludwig Field beginning at 1 p.m. -------
