The Golden Eagles won game one 12-5 and took the nightcap 23-6. Matt Johnson (Kingston/Kingston ) led Brockport with a four-hit game in the opener. Joe Lux (Endicott/Union Endicott) added a pair of doubles. Ryan Mohr (Cheektowaga/Maryvale) pitched five innings, allowing three runs for the win. Bret McCabe (Buffalo/St. Francis) and Shane Morrison (Elmira/Notre Dame) paced the Blue Devils with two hits each. Brockport put up 23 runs in the second game, including eight in the third, five in the fourth and nine in the sixth. They pounded out 16 hits and 12 walks as 18 different players took their turn at bat. Johnson added two more hits, including a three-run homerun. Tim Lockhart (Youngstown/Lewiston Porter), Scott Herdzik (Dunkirk/Dunkirk), and Todd Bialaszewski (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) each had a pair of hits for Fredonia State. Senior Bret McCabe connected for his second homer of the season in his final at bat at Ludwig Field. The Blue Devils drop to 5-24 overall and 0-12 in the SUNYAC.
