Using mostly a knuckleball, Munski recovered from a slow start -- he trailed 4-0 after two innings -- to stymie the Red Dragons (11-8, 6-0) on six hits over seven innings. None of the Cortland hits were for extra bases, and Munski walked two. Scott Herdzik (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) pitched one scoreless inning in relief of Munski and Brandon Miller (Ripley/Ripley) homered for one of the Fredonia State runs. The Blue Devils (1-16, 0-6) dropped the first game, 17-1. Kyle Adams (Naples/Naples) was 3 for 3 with an RBI. Fredonia State plays its next eight games at home: doubleaheders against Hilbert College (April 7), Medaille College (April 8), Oswego State (April 10), and Penn State Behrend (April 12). The Hilbert and Medaille home twinbills are the result of game site changes. Athletics Home | Fredonia Home
