The Blue Devils only managed four hits in the twinbill. Gannon used the first inning in both games to take command. In the opener, the Golden Knights scored three in the first and two more in the second to chase stater Kyle Adams (Naples/Naples) from the game. Dave Tubbs (Forrestville/Forrestville)and Joe Webster (Elma/Iroquois) provided excellent relief work, but it was too little, too late. Tubbs allowed no hits in 2 1/3 innings. Webster allowed one run in the final two innings. Gannon scored four in the first inning of game two off starter Noah Huard (Buffalo/City Honors). Once again the Blue Devils received quality relief as Trey Johnson (Gerry/Cassadaga Valley), Mike Munski (Rochester/Rush Henrietta), and Donny Burch (Cuba/Cuba-Rushford)allowed only two runs over the last five innings.
