Oneonta hands Fredonia State two conference setbacks

Oneonta, N.Y. – Fredonia State suffered two losses at the hands of Oneonta State to drop to 0-4 in conference play. The first game saw the Blue Devils manage only 4 hits as the Red Dragons won 12-0. Brett McCabe allowed 8 hits in 5 innings of work, allowing 8 runs, 2 earned, to take the loss.

Game Two saw Fredonia State grab an early 1-0 lead on a sacrifice fly by Tim Lockhart. However, the Red Dragons took control with a five-run fourth inning. Oneonta would push across eight more runs before the Blue Devils capped the scoring with a pair of tallies in the ninth inning. David Tubbs took the loss on the mound for Fredonia State, going four innings and allowing five runs.
