The Blue Devil men take a 2-2 SUNYAC record into the weekend (5-7 overall) while each of this weekend's opponents is 1-3 in the conference. New Paltz is 5-6 overall heading into their meeting Friday against the Blue Devils. Saturday's opponent, Oneonta, is 6-6 overall prior to facing Buffalo State in another SUNYAC game Friday night. On the women's side, the Blue Devil women will go hunting for their first conference win. They are 0-4 in the SUNYAC and 5-7 overall. Conversely, New Paltz heads into the weekend 3-1 in the conference and 8-3 overall. Oneonta is also 3-1 SUNYAC and 7-4 overall prior to its Friday game. The Friday games are 6 p.m. for the women and 8 p.m. for the men. On Saturday, start times are 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The Blue Devils -- both men and women -- have 12 regular-season conference games remaining. Of those dozen dates, five are at home: Feb. 1 vs. Brockport, Feb. 2 vs. Geneseo, Feb. 9 vs. Buffalo State, Feb. 22 vs. Oswego, and Feb. 23 vs. Morrisville State. The playoff format for both genders is identical, although each tournament is separate. The top four teams in each division -- East and West -- are seeded in an eight-team bracket. Quarterfinal games are Feb. 26 at various campus sites. Action then moves to the home floor of highest remaining seed for semifinals Feb. 29 and the championship game March 1.
