Late Bozoian goal backs Street in 3-3 tie

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- Senior forward Kyle Bozoian (St. Charles, Mo.) scored the equalizer late in the third period to support the goaltending of freshman Pat Street (Annapolis, Md.) in a 3-3 SUNYAC road tie at Plattsburgh.

Bozoian made a strong move at the net and scooped a backhand shot into the net while falling down at 17:47 of the third period. It was his 12th goal of the season and his second resulting in a tie.

Meanwhile, Street made 47 saves -- including nine during the five-minute overtime. He came up big numerous times with quality saves.

Freshman Pat Capella (Syracuse) and sophomore Bryan Goudy (Port Huron, Mich.) had the other goals for the Blue Devils (10-5-4, 3-3-2 SUNYAC). Goudy also had one assist.

Riley Hill, Eric Greene, and Shawn Dennis had the Plattsburgh goals. Goaltender Chris Molinaro made 25 saves for the Cardinals (8-6-5, 2-3-3 SUNYAC).

The Blue Devils return to SUNYAC action Saturday night at Potsdam. The game will be broadcast by Fredonia Radio Systems on WCVF (88.9 FM).
