The Blue Devils (3-4-1, 1-3-0) fell 3-0 to the Cortland Red Dragons one night after being shut out at Oswego. Fredonia State hadn't been shut out back-to-back since the 1999-2000 season, covering a span of 177 games, when RIT and Elmira blanked the Blue Devils in consecutive games. In addition, Fredonia State had never before been blanked in consecutive SUNYAC games over its 20-year hockey history. It was Fredonia State's second loss of the season to Cortland, 2-1 winners when the teams met Oct. 21 in the SUNYAC Challenge.
