Tied 2-all after two periods, Oswego State went ahead with a Tony DiNunzio (King City, Ont.) goal with 2:58 remaining in the game to break a 2-all tie. DiNunzio would add an empty netter at the 19:36 mark to put away the game. After a scoreless first period, Oswego drew first blood with a power play goal 27 seconds into the second. Ryan Ellis (Georgetown, Ont.) scored on assists from Ryan Koresky (Midhurst, Ont.) and Brendan McLaughlin (Brampton, Ontario). The Devils would take the lead shortly thereafter. Will Barlow (Oakville, Ont.) scored at the 8:26 mark. Bryan Goudy (Port Huron, Mich.) would follow with another score at 9:17 to make it 2-1 in favor of the Devils. Oswego's Neil Musselwhite (Burlington, Ont.) scored the equalizer at 17:19 to finish off the scoring in the second period, before DiNunzio struck twice in the third. Fredonia State goaltender Pat Street (Annapolis, Md.) stopped 35 of 38 shots. For the Lakers, Ryan Scott (Williamsville) was credited with 22 saves in 24 chances. Oswego, the No. 3 ranked team in Division III, improves to 17-1-3 overall and 8-0-2 in SUNYAC play. The Devils fall to 11-6-4, and 4-4-2. They play host to Cortland Saturday evening at 7 p.m. in Steele Hall.
