Geneseo's Mitch Stephens scored the game-winner on a power play at 19:19 of the 3rd period, breaking a 2-2 tie. The power play was a result of a game-misconduct, checking from behind penalty on the Blue Devil's Joe Muli at the 15:35 mark. Stephens would add an empty-net goal 29 seconds later. Fredonia's Neal Sheehan (Avon Lake, Ohio) put the Devils up 1-0 with halfway through the first period. Geneseo's Mathieu Cyr tied the game at 1-1 at the 12:04 mark. The score remained 1-1 until Dan Brown put Geneseo ahead 2-1 with a goal at 6:45 in the third period. Fredonia's Kyle Bozoian (St. Charles, Mo.) tied the score at 2-all with 5:18 left. Fredonia goaltender Kevin Amborski (Bloomfield, Burlington) stopped 22 shots and allowed three goals. Geneseo's Derek Jokic allowed two goals and made 30 saves. The Blue Devils travel to Brockport for their final regular-season road game Saturday night.
