Allegheny 9, Fredonia State 7

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Fredonia State dropped a see-saw battle with Allegheny College played Thursday at Robertson Field.

With 11:15 left, Erynn Anderson (Dewitt/C.W. Barker) scored her second of three goals to forge a 6-6 tie. The Gators (3-4) scored the next two goals and held on for the non-conference win.

Katelyn Ferry (Lancaster/Lancaster) scored twice for the Blue Devils (2-6). She also had two assists.

Fredonia State goalkeeper Kelly McLeod (Hamburg/Frontier) made 12 saves.

The Blue Devils return to action at home 1 p.m. Saturday against Potsdam.
