Devils score road win at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Fredonia State improved to 3-1 with an 11-7 road win Saturday at The College of Wooster.

Senior attacker Christie Zaganiaczyk (Pittsford/Pittsford-Mendon) led the Blue Devil attack with five goals and one assist, while freshman midfielder Kelsey Lamb (Niskayuna) had three goals.

In addition, freshman Laura Culhane (Rochester/Gates-Chili) had two goals and one assist, and sophomore midfielder Katie Monaghan (Fairport) one goal and two assists.

Fredonia State senior goalkeeper Sarah Wright (Rochester/Irondequoit) was credited with 14 saves.

The Blue Devils' next game is their SUNYAC opener, Tuesday at Geneseo.
