Gannon opened a 4-0 lead 5:23 into the match and never looked back. Following two Fredonia State goals, the Lady Knights ended the half with four unanswered goals in the final 11:37 and went to halftime with an 8-2 advantage. Fredonia State struck first in the second half, needing only 16 seconds to trim the Gannon lead to 8-3. The early bomb lit another spark under the Lady Knights, who proceeded to tally four consecutive goals for a 12-3 lead. Fredonia State recorded its final goal with 15:03 remaining before Gannon finished the contest with a 7-0 run over the final 14:27. Christie Zaganiaczyk scored twice for Fredonia State. Brittany McDevitt and Nicole VanEttan scored once each.
