Sophomore attacker Kaleena Goldsworthy (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) scored five times as the Blue Devils (5-6, 2-4) won their third straight game and entered into a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference standings. Sophomore attacker Christie Zaganiaczyk (Lancaster/Lancaster) added three goals, sophomore attacker Kayleigh Goldsworthy (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) had two, while sophomore midfielders Stephanie Maderer (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) and Rebecca Erlichman (Pittsford/Pittsford-Mendon) had one goal each. Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Wright (Rochester/Irondequoit) was credited with nine saves. Junior midfielder Meredith Lerch (Manlius) had three goals for the Lakers (3-9, 2-4 SUNYAC), who are also part -- along with Brockport -- of the three-way tie for the fourth and final SUNYAC playoff berth. Each of the three teams has one conference game remaining, and all three games are scheduled for Saturday: Oswego at Buffalo State, Oneonta at Brockport, and Potsdam at Fredonia State starting at 1 p.m. at the Brigham Road Field. Should the teams remain tied after Saturday, goal differential will be used to determine which team earns the berth. A two-way tie will be broken using head-to-head results, with Fredonia State holding the advantage over each of the other two teams.
