Blue Devils Beat Potsdam

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Fredonia State improved to 11-4 this season, 4-3 in SUNYAC, with a 10-5 win over the Potsdam Bears.

After a 2-2 tie going into halftime, the Blue Devils went onto score eight goals in the second period.

Senior attacker Christie Zaganiaczyk (Lancaster) and sophomore midfielder Katie Monaghan (Fairport) each had three goals, with Monaghan also adding an assist. Senior midfielder Rebecca Erlichman (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon) had one goal and two assists in the game.

Senior goalkeeper Sarah Wright (Rochester/Irondequoit) had 10 saves on 15 shots.

Still in the running for a SUNYAC Tournament berth, the Blue Devils' last regular-season game is Tuesday at home vs. Buffalo State.
