Reichert, Zaganiaczyk chosen by SUNYAC coaches

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Two Fredonia State players have been named to the 2007 SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference team.

Freshman defender Emily Reichert (Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) was selected to the First Team, one of three freshman on the squad, while junior attacker Christie Zaganiaczyk (Lancaster) was a Second Team choice.

Reichert led the Blue Devils by picking up 48 groundballs and causing 40 turnovers. The former number was ranked 72nd nationally, while the latter placed her 17th in the nation, with a 2.69 per game average, through April 29. In addition, Reichert had four goals and five assists.

Zaganiaczyk led the Blue Devils in scoring with 47 goals and four assist for 51 points. Her 3.23 goals per game average was 42nd nationally through the April 29 ranking period.
