It was Fredonia State's first loss after three straight wins. The Blue Devils (6-8, 3-3 SUNYAC) never trailed in the first half and led twice by 10 points, including 14-14 at intermission. The Red Dragons (8-6, 3-3 SUNYAC) took their first lead, 29-28, on two free throws by Robert Fisk with 14:57 left. One lead change and two ties later, the hosts took the lead for good, 34-32, on a layup by Shane Gillette with 10:10 to go. The Blue Devils got no closer than one point the rest of the way. Brad Cooper (Monticello) was the lone Blue Devil in double figures with 12 points. Wayne Davis (Binghamton) was credited with four steals. The Blue Devils made only three trips to the foul line in the game and were outscored from the stripe, 13-2. The Blue Devils return to SUNYAC competition next Friday at Morrisville State. -------
