Kane scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Blue Devils (6-10, 3-5 SUNYAC), which dropped a 72-57 SUNYAC game to Oswego. He had 10 points and 12 rebounds in a Friday night loss at Morrisville State. The Blue Devils fell victim second-half doldrums. They trailed 28-26 at halftime before forging a 28-28 tie -- the eighth tie of the game -- on a layup by Kyle Gordon (Canandaigua) 13 seconds into the second half. The Lakers (12-4, 6-2 SUNYAC) took command with a 15-0 run over the next six minutes. Gordon finished with 11 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds for the Blue Devils. Sophomore Kevin Saunders (Batavia) was credited with four assists. The Lakers had four players score in double figures, led by Kyle Reuter with 21 points. The Blue Devils face Brockport at Steele Hall at 8 p.m. Feb. 1. -------
