Houghton deals Devils a road loss
HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Fredonia State lost a non-conference road game Tuesday to Houghton, 66-53.
Brad Cooper (Monticello) had 19 points for the Blue Devils (6-11), who will try to end a four-game losing streak when they meet Brockport 8 p.m. Friday at Steele Hall.
The Blue Devils are also home Saturday at 8 p.m. vs. Geneseo.
Up by as many as eight points in the first half, the Blue Devils trailed 29-27 at halftime to Houghton. After regaining a small lead early in the second half, the Blue Devils fell behind and could not catch the Highlanders.
