Two straight three-point baskets by Chantal Bien-Aime (Rockland), followed by two more by Chris Plante (Whitesboro) triggered a 36-9 Wildcat run covering a span of eight minutes. Chris Laboard (Bronx) had nine of his 14 points during the run, which saw the Wildcats (13-10, 9-6 SUNYAC) turn a 45-36 halftime deficit into an eventual 74-57 lead. SUNYIT outscored their hosts 51-23 in the second half. Plante finished with 19 points, Chris Reaves (Syracuse) with 18, and Bien-Aime with 16, incliding 4 of 6 from beyond the arc. Fredonia State's Tim Anderson (Jamestown/Jamestown) led all scorers with 31 points, 21 of them in the first half. He was 7 of 12 from three-point range. Taha Alassari (Brooklyn/Sweet Home) added 13 and Chris Donahue (Olean/Olean) had 11. Fredonia State shot 45.9 percent in the first half, only to tail off in the second half (8 of 28, 28.6 percent). The Blue Devils (9-15, 4-11 SUNYAC) close out their season with a home game 8 p.m. Saturday vs. Cortland.
