Eagles outgun Blue Devils, 74-51

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Poor shooting in the first half was too much for Fredonia State to overcome Friday in a 74-51 SUNYAC home loss to Brockport.

The Golden Eagles (15-4, 8-2 SUNYAC) led 43-17 at halftime while outshooting their hosts from the field, 61.5 percent to 23.1 percent. It was a hole from which the Blue Devils (5-15, 2-10 SUNYAC) were unable to recover.

Brockport had three players scoring in double figures, led by junior Sherod Harris (Rochester/Gates-Chili) with 14 points.

Senior forward Kevin Reichlmayr (Rochester/Aquinas Institute) led the Blue Devils with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Fredonia State is back in action on the road Monday at Thiel College.
