The lead changed hands 20 times and there were nine ties before Buffalo State took control in the final minute. The Blue Devils (6-14, 3-8 SUNYAC) led by by as many as eight points in the first half and led 59-58 before the visiting Bengals took the lead for good on a basket by Jamar Gray (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) with 2:09 to go. Gray finished with 16 points, James Tyndal (Bronx/Msgr. Scanlon) added 15, and Glenroy Carr (Amherst/Sweet Home) had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Bengals, who outscored Fredonia State from the foul line, 24-13. Rich Buckmon (Syracuse/Heninger) led Fredonia State with 19 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Gordon (Canandaigua) added 11 points. The Blue Devils are back in action Feb. 15 at Geneseo. -------
