Devils edged at Behrend

ERIE, Pa. – Fredonia State closed out the first semester with a 58-53 non-conference loss Saturday to Penn State Behrend.

Junior Nate Sanzo (Westfield/Westfield) had 17 points for the Blue Devils (4-5). It was his third straight game this week with 17 points.

Sanzo also had a team-high eight rebounds. Sophomore Mike Kelly (Corning/Corning East) had nine points.

Jared Clough led Behrend (3-4) with 22 points.

The Blue Devils are back in action Jan. 8 at Thiel.
