The Devils (11-3-2, 5-2-1 SUNYAC) controlled most of the action, outshooting the Geneseo 26-7, but could not break through. Senior goalkeeper Matt Borchard (Williamsville/Williamsville South) made one save for Fredonia State in earning the team's twelfth shutout of the season. Tim Spayd (Farminton/Canandaigua) was credited with nine saves in earning his third, and the Geneseo's fifth, shoutout of the season. Geneseo is now 9-1-4 overall and 4-1-3 in the SUNYAC. The Devils wrap up SUNYAC play and host their final regular-season home game on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 3 p.m.
