Potsdam upsets Blue Devils

POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Potsdam scored two second-half goals and upset Fredonia State, 2-0, in SUNYAC action.

The Blue Devils (10-3-1, 4-2-0 SUNYAC) were outshot, 7-6, while losing back-to-back games on their North County trip.

Gary Lee and Jeremy Boula had the goals and Tyler Lattimore made five saves to earn the shutout for the Bears (3-6-5, 1-2-3 SUNYAC).

Six different players had one shot each and senior goalkeeper Matt Borchard (Williamsville/Williamsville South) made two saves for Fredonia State.

The Blue Devils return home for their next three SUNYAC games starting Oct. 14 vs. Brockport.
