The Devils took advantage of an errant goal kick off the foot of the Cortland keeper who slipped as he punted the ball. Dagel took control at midfield and fired a shot towards the Cortland net. The Cortland keeper could not get in position quickly enough to stop the shot as the ball took one bounce and went into the corner of the net. For Dagel, it was his team-leading seventh goal of the season, and his fourth game-winner. The Devils held a 9-6 advantage in shots. The Devils (12-6-1) will take on Plattsburgh (14-2-3) tomorrow at 1:30 for the SUNYAC title. Plattsbugh advanced with a 1-0 win over Geneseo. It will be Fredonia State's fourth trip in eight seasons to the championship game under head coach P.J. Gondek. An earlier matchup on Oct. 12 at Plattsburgh resulted in a 0-0 double-overtime tie.
