ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- RIT scored two second half goals en route to a 3-1 win over Fredonia State at the Doug May Classic hosted by Nazareth College on Saturday.

Mark Frisicano's goal for RIT in the 41st minute gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead. RIT made it 2-0 in the 61st minute on a converted penalty kick.

Fredonia State's Peter Dagel (Rochester/Gates Chili) cut the lead in half, 2-1, with his first goal of the season.

The Tiger's Andrew Ong then capped the scoring to give RIT (1-1-0) the 3-1 victory.

Scott Bergen (Schenectady/Mohonasen) had nine saves in goal for the Devils while allowing the three scores. Tom Cavanaugh (Slingerlands/Voorheesville) tended the net the final eight-and-a-half minutes without any opportunities.

The Devils (0-2-0) travel to Medialle on Tuesday. They will then play host to the Days In Tournament on Sept. 7 and 8 for their home opener.
