Ianni broke in free on Behrend goalkeeper Matt Zimsak (Butler/Butler) after taking a crossing pass from Alex Parker (Pittsford/Pittsford Mendon). The goal came with 16:16 left in the first half. Borchard completed the shutout by making six saves. Zimsak had two saves for the Lions (4-1-0). Behrend had a 16-14 advantage in shots. Fredonia State led in corner kicks, 4-3. For the Blue Devils (4-1-1), ranked No. 7 in the latest NCAA Division III Northeast poll, the win improved their all-time mark in the series with Behrend to 25-2-1.
