Roanoke blanks Blue Devils

SALEM, Va. – The Blue Devils (1-1) were limited to four shots Saturday in their 1-0 loss to Roanoke College.

Four different players had one shot each while junior goalkeeper Matt Borchard made five saves in defeat.

The lone goal by Roanoke (2-0) came off the foot of Chris Keating in the 55th minute.

The action took place in the 13th annual Domino's Classic. Play resumes Sunday with the Blue Devils taking on Greensboro (N.C.) College at 12:30 p.m.
