Peterson produces 1,650 freestyle victory

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Nathan Peterson (Frewsburg/Frewsburg) was Fredonia State's one winner during the three-day Blue Devil Invitational at the Steele Hall Natatorium.

Peterson, a junior, won the 1,650-yard freestyle in a time of 17:51.53.

Also, freshman Matt Callegari (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) was second in the 50-yard freestyle in :23.0 seconds.

The Blue Devils were fourth in the team scoring, as follows: Oswego 1,104; Monroe Community College 709; Nazareth College 595; Fredonia State 544; and Alfred State 277.
