Men's track and field

Five men qualify for SUNYACs

FREDONIA, N.Y. – SUNYAC qualifying performances were attained Saturday by five Fredonia State men competing at Brockport State.

Jim Sweeney (4th, 10:14.14), Kevin Buzzelli (5th, 10:17.74), and Chris Mills (7th, 10:83.83) reached the standard in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Qualifying in the hammer throw were Charles Infurna (4th, 151’ 8”) and Walter Handzlik (13th, 103’8”).

It was the first outdoor meet of the Blue Devils’ season. The spring season resumes Saturday at the University of Rochester.
