Waldron second in high jump at Rochester Alumni Meet

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Drew Waldron (Freedom/Pioneer) finished second in the high jump with a personal-best of 6 feet, 3 inches in the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.

In addition to Waldron, seven other Blue Devil men recorded SUNYAC qualifying performances. They were Brent Rose (Kenoza Lake/Sullivan West) in the 400 meters, Jerome Evans (Rochester/Greece Olympia) in the 800 meters, Kevin Buzzelli (Grand Island/Grand Island) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Aaron Johnson (Brockport/Brockport) in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, and Tim Miller (Cheektowaga/St.Mary's) and Walter Handzlik (East Aurora/St. Francis) in the hammerthrow.
