Five men qualify for SUNYACs

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Charles Infurna (Rochester/Webster) had the best finish among the Fredonia State men competing April 10 at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational.

Infurna finished second in the men's hammer throw (1254'5"). He was also fifth in the discus (127'5").

Jim Sweeney (Albany/Guilderland) and Chris Mills (Auburn/Auburn) were third and sixth, respectively, in the 10,000-meter run -- Sweeney in 32:51.61, Mills in 33:51.58.

In addition, Kevin Buzzelli (Grand Island/Grand Island) was eighth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:22.25).

The Blue Devils compete Saturday at Slippery Rock.
