Empire State Games

Three Devil soccer coaches in Empire State Games

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Three Fredonia State soccer coaches will participate later this month in the Open Division of the Empire State Games.

P.J. Gondek will serve as a coach of the Western Region men’s soccer team. Chris Case and Kyle Marvin will be members of the team.

Gondek is Fredonia State men’s soccer coach, Case is head coach of the Blue Devil women, and Marvin is an assistant women’s coach.

Case will play as a goalkeeper and Marvin as a midfielder for the Western Region team.

The Empire State Games will be held July 27-31 in the Hudson River Valley region. Opening ceremonies are July 27 at Marist College in Poughkeepsie.
