Casey Mazurek (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) dropped a single into the middle of the infield to drive in the winning run in the first extra inning of the first game, a 5-4 Devil victory. Mazurek earned the win with two scoreless inning in relief of Amanda Waite (Dunkirk/Dunkirk), who allowed four runs over the first six innings. Nikki Prentice (Frewsburg/Frewsburg) doubled, singled, and had two RBI to lead the Blue Devil offense. Waite also doubled and singled, and Jen Grabowski (West Seneca/West Seneca West) had two singles. Losing pitcher Brittany Curran (Alfred/Alfred-Almond) pitched a complete game and led the Saxon offense with two hits. Lauren Mastin (Springwater/Wayland-Cohocton) had two hits and scored two runs. In the second game, the Blue Devils (6-9) pounded 13 hits to support winning pitcher Ashley Sullivan (Derby/Lake Shore). Ashley Livermore (Randolph/Randolph) led the offense with a triple, a double, and a single. Mazurek added three singles. Waite and Grabowski had two hits each. Sullivan allowed two hits over five scoreless innings. Losing pitcher Heidi Brooks (Wayland/Wayland-Cohocton) had an RBI double.
