Sullivan's single to center scored Amanda Waite (Dunkirk/Dunkirk), who doubled down the line in left to lead off the 9th inning and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt by Andrea Carlson (Forestville/Pine Valley). Mazurek completed the nine-inning complete-game with a scoreless inning. She scattered seven hits, struck out nine, and allowed one earned run to improve to 3-3 this season. Sullivan took the loss in the second game, a 6-2 setback, but went 3 for 3 at the plate and raised her average to a team-high .371. Waite recorded three innings of scoreless relief in her first pitching apperance of the season. Nikki Prentice (Frewsburg/Frewsburg) and Ashley Livermore (Randolph/Randolph) had RBI singles. In addition to Sullivan, Livermore and Jennifer Grabowski (West Seneca/West Seneca West) also had RBI in the first game.
