The Blue Devils (8-13) left 10 runners on base in the first game, many the result of 12 hits. Lindsey Drum (Wayland/Wayland-Cohochton) had three hits, and have five hits in the doubleheader. Ashley Livermore (Randolph/Randolph) had a two-run homer. She and Casey Mazurek (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) had two hits each in game one. Errors proved costly as five of the Pitt-Bradford runs were unearned off losing pitcher Amanda Waite (Dunkirk/Dunkirk). Mazurek tossed a complete game in the nightcap and fell to 5-6 on the season. Waite and Drum had two hits each. The Blue Devils are idle Thursday -- their first off day in six days. They played 12 games over that time. They return to SUNYAC action with doubleheaders Friday (at Oswego), Saturday (at New Paltz), and Sunday (at SUNYIT). Athletics Home | Fredonia Home
