Six teams entered in Blue Devil Invitational

FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The host Fredonia State Blue Devils and teams from Baldwin-Wallace, Monroe Community College, Oswego, Penn State Behrend, and Pitt-Bradford are entered in the three-day Blue Devil Invitational. The meet will consist of five sessions: preliminaries 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with finals at 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Scoring will be awarded through 16 places -- 20 points for first in the A final, 17 for second, 16 for third, 15 for fourth, 14 for fifth, 13 for sixth, 12 for seventh, and 11 for eighth. The B final scoring will be 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 per place. Scoring in each relay will be doubled, although no B relay may score ahead of an A relay.

"It looks to be a great weekend of competition," Fredonia State coach Arthur Wang said. "Each team coming has something to offer. It could be the closest meet in (four years)."

A diving showdown between a pair of All Americans, Oswego's Kevin Morgan and Fredonia State's Scott Horsington (Churchville/Churchvile-Chili), will be a weekend highlight.
