The women's quartet of junior Emily Dizer (Tonawanda/Sweet Home), sophomore Taylor Kelly (Wading River/Shoreham-Wading River), freshman Caitlyn Fields (Buffalo/Sacred Heart), and freshman Morgan Reisch (Fairport) won the event in 4:11.58. The previous school record was 4:14.97.

In the men's race, Fredonia State sophomore Al Palmquist (Olean), senior Brian Ruffles (Angola/Lake Shore), sophomore Michael Seay (Grand Island), and sophomore Evan Prewitt (Rochester/Rush-Henrietta) raced faster than the previous pool record with a 3:42.77 clocking. They were defeated by Penn State Behrend's quartet, which claimed the new pool mark of 3:42.19.

Other meet highlights on the women's side was a one-two finish by sophomore Mandy Nelson (Frewsburg) and sophomore Monica Dunlevy (Batavia) in the 1,650-yard freestyle. Their respective times were 19:09.03 and 19:19.23. Finishing seventh was freshman Emily Wiles (Apalachin/Owego). The team is second in the team scoring after the first day.
