Austin breaks own sprint mark

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- Fredonia State senior Cassie Austin (Cuba/Cuba-Rushford) broke her own 50-yard freestyle record while participating Saturday at a time trial at SUNY Cortland.

Austin lowered her previous mark of 25.38 seconds -- set last week at the SUNYAC meet -- to 25.19 seconds.

She also had the fastest time of the day in the 100-yard freestyle of 55.07 seconds.
