Oaks, Salehi double winners

FREDONIA, N.Y. – Chris Oaks (Macedon/Palmyra-Macedon) and Cyrus Salehi (Fairport/Fairport) each claimed double victories for Fredonia State, but it wasn't enough as the men's swim team dropped the meet 104-80 to Brockport Wednesday evening.

Oaks took the 1,000-yard freestyle in a time of 11:10.25. He also claimed the 500, coming in at 5:26.96.

Salehi touched first in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle with winning times of 23.20 and 50.67, respectively.

It was the Blue Devils final home meet of the season. They are back in action Jan. 22 at the University of Rochester.
