Gordon triples in final home meet

FREDONIA, N.Y. – Fredonia State senior Katie Gordon (Hamburg/Hamburg) was a triple winner -- she won the 100-yard fly, 200-yard IM and was a member of the 200 medley relay team -- in her final home meet as a Blue Devil. Fredonia State claimed the team victory, 135-103, over Brockport.

Gordon recorded a time of 1:06.44 in the fly and 2:23.76 in the IM. Her medley quartet finished in 2:01.48.

Cassie Austin (Cuba/Cuba-Rushford) also claimed a trio of first-place finishes. She captured the 50-yard freestyle (26.15), the 100-yard freestyle (57.36) and was also a member of the 200 medley team.

In 1-meter diving, Kelly Maloney (Corning/Corning-Painted Post West) was tops with 206 points.

It was the Blue Devils final home meet of the season. They are back in action Jan. 22 at the University of Rochester.
