![]() Sports Information Department – 112 Dods Hall CONTACT: Jerry Reilly, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEWomen's Swimming & DivingDevils outlast Buffalo StateFREDONIA, N.Y. – Senior Katie Gordon (Hamburg/Hamburg) was a triple winner and freshmen Lexi Chapman (Lockport/Lockport) and Teresa MacInnes (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) set school records Tuesday in Fredonia State's 128-115 women's swimming and diving victory over Buffalo State. Gordon was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.02), the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.65), and the 100-yard breast stroke (1:18.51). Chapman established a new school mark in the 1,000-yard freestyle with 11:23.95, breaking her own record, and teamed with freshman Alison Eckert (Eden/Eden), sophomore Amanda Steubing (Churchville/Churchville-Chili), and sophomore Cassie Austin (Cuba/Cuba-Rushford) to win the 200-yard medley relay (2:03.44). MacInnes set a pool and school record with 203.20 points off the 1-meter board. The Blue Devils, just back from a training trip to Hawaii, continue their busy week when they travel Friday to Cleveland to compete against Case Western Reserve and Ohio Wesleyan.
