MacInnes sets 1-meter mark

GENESEO, N.Y. Freshman Teresa MacInnes (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) set a new Fredonia State 1-meter diving record Saturday at Geneseo.

MacInnes scored 206.55 points while winning the event. The school record prior to this season was 188.95 points.

MacInnes also won the 3-meter competition with 199.10 points. Sophomore teammate Kelly Maloney (Corning/Corning-Painted Post West) was second in both events.

Geneseo was the team competition, 126-106.

In the men's meet, junior Chris Oaks (Macedon/Palmyra Macedon) finished third in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a personal-best 11:03.47. Geneseo won the team scoring.

The Blue Devils have their final home meet Wednesday vs. Brockport. The meet starts at 4 p.m.
