Four men qualify for SUNYACs

KENT, Ohio. -- Four Fredonia State men recorded SUNYAC qualifying performances Saturday at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala.

Junior thrower Nick Lord (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) qualified in the shot put (39 feet, 4 inches) one day after a New York State Collegiate Track Conference qualifying performance in the weight throw.

Also, senior Jerome Evans (Rochester/Greece Olympia) made the SUNYAC standard in the 400-meter run with a time of :52.40, while sophomore Brett Csont (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) and Aaron Borowczyk qualified in the 200-meter dash. Borowczyk's time was :23.87, while Csont stopped watches in :23.98.

The Blue Devil women also participated at Kent State but results were not immediately available.
