Hopson set a school record in the 20-pound weight throw of 15.76 meters, and won the shot put with a toss of 12.39 meters. She accounted for a majority of the Blue Devils' 41.5 points, good for seventh place in the team standings. Tying for fourth and tying her own school record of 10' in the pole vault was senior Erin Ross (Amherst/Amherst), while senior Rachel McNamara (Lakeview/Nardin) was fourth in the 800 meters in 2:25, and fifth in the mile in a personal-best 5:21. The women's distance medley relay also finished fourth in 13:18, the 4-by-400 quartet was seventh in 4:24, and senior Aimee Milks (Binghamton/Chenango Forks) was eighth in the 800 meters in 2:29. The best finish on the men's side was a third-place 35-pound weight throw of 15.48 meters by senior Nick Lord (Skaneateles/Skaneateles). In addition, sophomore Justin Schwab (Salamanca/Salamanca) tied for fifth in the high jump by clearing 6' 2". Sixth-place performances were turned in by senior Tim Miller (Cheektowaga/St. Mary's) with a personal-best 12.97-meter shot put, senior Andy Forma (Elma/St. Francis) with a 4:27 mile, and the 4-by-400 relay team. A personal-best 12.49 meters in the shot put by freshman Steve Scherer (Hamburg/Frontier) earned eighth-place points. Also finishing eighth were freshman Mike Kelley (Geneseo/Geneseo) in the triple jump, and the distance medley relay team. The men were eighth in the team standings.
