In the 3,000 meters, sophomore Tom Williams (Queensbury) finished 48th in a time of 8:49.16. His time was good enough for second in the SUNYAC. Senior sprinter Nicole C. Smith (Amherst) finished 107th in the 400 meter in a time of 1:02.27. Sophomore Rhea Williams (Windsor) was close behind, finishing 111th in a season-best 1:04.10 In the 60 meter hurdles, freshman Kate Brett (Webster/Webster-Schroeder) had a personal best 9.74 while finishing 80th. Junior Julia Hopson (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) recorded a distance of 12.25 meters in the shot put, finishing in the middle of the pack. Over 130 colleges, including many Division I, were slated to participate in the two-day event. -------
