Lappin was timed in :59.72 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles. Also, freshman Josh Guarino (Bergen/Byron-Bergen) finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:54.18, freshman Matt Kepler (Valley Cottage/Nyack) third in the 1,500 meters in 4:17.37, senior Justin Schwab (Killbuck/Salamanca) fourth in the high jump by clearing 1.83 meters, and junior Rob Rappole (Bemus Point/Maple Grove) seventh in the 800 meters in 1:59.69. On the women's side, sophomore Jackie Majka (Depew) finished second in two events. She cleared 1.57 meters in the high jump and soared 5.01 meters in the long jump. In addition, freshman Kate Brett (Webster/Webster-Schroeder) was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.05, while freshman Hailey Guard (Youngstown/Lewiston-Porter) ran a personal-best 2:31.63 in the 800 meters. -------
